THE PEANUT BUTTER MILL

Tyler's Farm

Based in Oberlin, Ohio, Tyler’s Farm brings a variety of fresh greens to the market. The hydroponic farm uses only NON-GMO seeds. Lettuces include: red leaf, light green leaf, green bibb, red bibb, green oak leaf, red oak leaf, and romaine.

Tyler's also offers mixed green blends as well as kales, arugula, and spinach. Because the greens are grown in greenhouses, they will be available all season long.

The Spice Hound

Kevin Scheuring, owner and operator of Spice Hound, sells at least 250 different spices! Always a KCFM favorite, Kevin attends on the first Sunday of the month. With superb spices perfectly packaged in $1 bags, people can afford to experiment and fearlessly try something new. Once you try Kevin’s high quality selections you’ll taste the difference and not wan’t to go back to “grocery store” spices. Don’t hesitate to ask Kevin for information on cooking with spices!

Kevin is Market Manager at the Coit Road Farmers Market, 15000 Woodworth Rd., East Cleveland, Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

West Park Massotherapy

Marilyn Valentino, LMT, and staff have been a highly valued part of the market’s community health outreach from the very beginning, providing chair massage to weary market shoppers. Marilyn is also a professional dance instructor and provides information about the health benefits of dance and her upcoming Ballroom and Line Dance lessons!

West Park Massotherapy also features Zumba on Monday (beginners) and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at noon. Marilyn is an active community volunteer and a past president of the Kiwanis of West Park. Be sure to stop by her booth on the third Sunday of each month, enjoy a chair massage, and learn about the fun and health benefits related to dance.

The Federation Station featuring Captain’s Blend, the Best Hot & Iced Coffee in the Nebula!

Did you know that West Park is the home of the USS Challenger, Cleveland Chapter of The Federation - the ONLY Star Trek fan club endorsed by Star Trek’s creator Gene Roddenberry and his son Rod Roddenberry?

Founded in 1983 here in Greater Cleveland with Gene Roddenberry’s direct assistance (originally known as the International Federation of Trekkers), all the chapters in the international fan organization are required to do community service missions - helping people, just like the Enterprise did week after week.

A 501c3 non-profit, community service focused organization, our local chapter, the USS Challenger, has raised over $20,000 for local and national charities over the last five years. The crew of the Challenger volunteers each week to serve hot & iced Captain’s Blend, created my Master Barista Jim Pantelemon of Savor the Moment Coffee Shop, to thirsty market shoppers. Ice cold Vanilla Bean Infused Lemonade is also featured during the hot summer months. A donation is suggested to support the Challenger’s ongoing charitable missions.

The Federation is pleased to be an Official Sponsor of the Kamm’s Corners Farmers Market.

This Leavittsburg, Ohio, farming couple offers not only pastured-raised meat, but also chicken and duck eggs. "All our animals are in pasture during the daylight and are housed in our barn at night to keep them safe from predators," said Denise Lofland. She and her husband Shane run the farm with their grown children. It's their second year in farming – and they've got big plans. For example, they recently added 11 goats to the 80-animal farm to start producing goat cheese and goat fudge next spring!

Stop by their booth to say hello! Learn how they farm without chemicals, antibiotics, and hormones, all while staying non GMO! "Fresh meat and dairy -- that's the Lofland Farm way." For more information, call 330-414-1758.
